You are required to be fingerprinted by MorphoTrust USA through an exclusive contract with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Click the link titled “Criminal History Background Check Process & Texas Fingerprint Service Code Form”. fill in your information and download the application.

• Then fill up all your personal information
• for Agency Identifiers, the code is: HL-ARA
• Choose your country of birth, City of Birth and Country of Citizenship.
• Answer more questions then
• Then choose the document you will bring with you
• Then pick a location then schedule an appointment.

• The cost of this service is $9.95 plus a $31.50 fee for the State and National Criminal History Record Information.
• Results will be submitted directly to the ARA offices in approximately 2-5 days.

2- Fill Out The Application.

Obtain the Fingerprint Application Packet from the City of Houston Administration and Regulatory Affairs Department (ARA) offices located at 1002 Washington Ave, Houston, TX 77002 or from this direct link below or from their website  www.houstontx.gov/ara/vfh.

Note: You are required to have the deed restriction form signed, it is part of the application packet.

 

3- Complete a Warrant Check.

You are required to complete a warrant check: this can be completed at the Municipal Court Department at: 1400 Lubbock St, Houston, TX 77002.

• The cost for this service is $20.00.
• The warrant check will be stamped and signed on the application. The court representative will not provide you with any additional papers.

 

4- Pick up your License

Bring the following items to the Houston Permitting Center at 1002 Washington Ave Houston TX 77002, they will take your photo for your Limousine Driver License, so make sure you look sharp, and professional.

• The completed vehicle for hire driver application.
• The completed and signed deed restriction affidavit.
• Warrant check obtained from the City of Houston Municipal Courts.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
